FAQ
-
For our first limited run we are offering free local Denver pickup. If you want to arrange delivery or shipping, please reach out to us directly post purchase.
-
How does local pickup work?
Our default is free local pickup at our workshop in Denver. Once your piece is ready, we’ll coordinate a window that works for everyone.
Since you’re picking it up in person, you get to inspect the piece before it goes home. If you decide it’s not for you before you load it up, we’ll issue a full refund on the spot. Once it leaves our doors, the sale is final.
Do you offer delivery or shipping?
We are a two-person team, so we focus on local pickup to keep our prices accessible. However, we can occasionally arrange delivery or shipping for special cases.
Local Delivery: If you’re within 30 miles, we may be able to personally deliver for a flat fee (depending on our current build schedule).
Long-Distance Shipping: If you’re out of the area, we can provide a custom shipping quote. Please note that professional furniture crating and freight shipping can be quite an investment—often nearly as much as the piece itself!
Interested? Send us a message with your zip code before purchasing, and we’ll see if we can make it happen.
What is your return policy for "Special Case" shipping?
Because shipping furniture is a high-stakes logistical feat, all pieces that are delivered or shipped are Final Sale. * We do not offer returns or exchanges on shipped items.
Shipping Damage: In the rare event a piece is damaged during transit by a third-party carrier, please take photos immediately and contact us within 24 hours so we can file a claim and find a solution for you.
Will it fit in my car? (For Pickup)
Our consoles are "ready to live," meaning they don't come in a flat box. Please measure your trunk or cargo space against the dimensions on the product page.
Pro Tip: Bring a few old blankets or towels! We’ll help you load it, but we want to make sure your new piece (and your car's interior) stays pristine on the drive home.

We love to collaborate with you. If you see a prototype we’ve created, want to modify a piece from one of our collections in color or size, or want to dream up something one-of-a-kind with us, please reach out to begin the design process. Please note that because custom commissions are tailored specifically to your space and vision, they require a non-refundable deposit and are considered final sale.
Payment Terms: All custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit to begin production, with the remaining balance due prior to shipping.
Final Sale: Because these pieces are made-to-order or modified to your specifications, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once production has started.
Lead Times: Custom timelines vary based on the complexity of the design and our current shop schedule. We will provide an estimated completion date at the time of your quote.

Materials & Natural Variations
We take pride in the raw, honest materials we use. Because our pieces are handcrafted, please anticipate the subtle nuances that make each one unique.
Blackened & Raw Steel: Our blackened finishes are applied by hand, resulting in intentional variations in tone, grain, color, and "bloom." These are not imperfections but a celebration of the metal’s industrial origin. Over time, the patina may evolve with use and environment. Care should be taken to avoid sharp objects or abrasive cleaners that may chip, dull, or damage the finish.
Powder Coated Finishes: While our powder coating provides a durable, resilient surface, it is not indestructible. Care should be taken to avoid sharp objects or abrasive cleaners that may chip, dull, or damage the finish.
Solid Hard Wood: Wood is a living material that responds to its environment. Slight movements, such as minor expansion or contraction due to humidity and temperature changes, are natural. Wood grain and color vary from plank to plank, ensuring no two pieces are identical. Each item is uniquely yours.
A Note on Consistency: Please note that digital screens may represent colors and textures differently. Small deviations between the studio prototype and the final delivered piece are a hallmark of the artisanal process and are not considered manufacturing defects.

To preserve the integrity and finish of your piece for years to come, we recommend the following care practices:
Powder Coated Steel
Our powder-coated finishes are durable and moisture-resistant, but they should be treated with care to avoid scuffing.
Daily Cleaning: Wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth or a microfiber towel dampened with warm water.
Deep Cleaning: For stubborn marks, use a mild, non-abrasive soap. Always dry the surface immediately with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
What to Avoid: Never use steel wool, scouring pads, or harsh chemical solvents (like bleach or acetone), as these will dull, scratch, or damage the finish.
Blackened & Raw Steel
Hand-blackened steel is a "living" finish that develops a beautiful patina over time.
Maintenance: Dust regularly with a dry, soft cloth. To maintain the luster and protect the metal, you may occasionally apply a thin coat of high-quality furniture wax (like Renaissance Wax) and buff gently.
Moisture Control: Always use coasters. Do not leave damp items or standing water on the surface, as this can cause oxidation (rust) or spotting on the hand-applied finish.
Solid Wood
Wood is sensitive to its environment and requires a gentle touch.
Environment: Keep wood pieces away from direct heat sources (radiators) and out of prolonged direct sunlight to prevent warping or fading.
Spills: Blot spills immediately with a dry cloth. Do not "scrub" the wood, as this can damage the grain or finish.
Polish: Use a wood-specific cleaner or oil as recommended for your specific wood type. Avoid "all-purpose" sprays which often contain silicone that builds up over time.
General Best Practices
Lift, Don’t Slide: To avoid scratching the floor or the piece itself, always lift furniture when moving it.
Avoid Friction: Sharp or heavy objects dragged across any of these surfaces may leave permanent marks.

Because we prioritize quality over volume, many of our pieces are released in limited-run productions.
Small-Batch Crafting: Our lead times reflect a focused production schedule where each piece is handcrafted and finished in small batches. This ensures that every console receives the attention to detail our designs require.
Estimated Windows: While we strive to ship within our stated windows, these dates are estimates. Our lead times are estimates, not guarantees. While we strive to meet every deadline, variables in the hand-finishing and curing process can occasionally cause shifts in the schedule. We will keep you updated on your piece’s progress from the bench to your door.
Sold Out/Pre-Orders: Once a limited run is filled, we may move to a pre-order model for the next production cycle. We will keep you updated on your piece’s progress from the first cut of steel to the final cure.
